About Zhongshan
Zhongshan, the home of Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, is a clean and tranquil city and is one of the most dynamic cities of the Pearl River Delta in Guangdong Province. Zhongshan has been honoured with a host of prestigious accolades, including "National Clean City", "National Garden City" and "National Environmental Protection Model City".

Visa
Visas are required for all foreigners entering mainland China. Standard tourist visas, valid for 30-day visits, are generally easy to acquire, while visas valid for more than 30 days are usually difficult to obtain.

Currency
The unit of money in China is called Renminbi. Credit cards are accepted in major hotels as well as the Friendship stores. Credit cards and US dollars are widely accepted in major hotels and shops.

Transport linkages
Zhongshan is connected by highway to Guangzhou and Shenzhen by highway (around 2 hours), and to Hong Kong by ferry (1 hour 30 minutes). Zhongshan is within easy access to six national and international airports in the region.
